About This Class:
The class will consist of some yogic muscle stretching and strengthening to assist with the latter stages of pregnancy and labour, breathing and relaxation exercises to assist in labour. This will be followed by a savasana meditation and relaxation session.
We will discuss relevant topics, occasionally with a guest speakers and an opportunity to catch up with the other mummies-to-be.
We end classes with time for a cup of tea and a snack and the chance to chat and develop a really social element to the group. Ideally it's about women supporting women hopefully forming our own Yogabellies™ community.
The classes are held in the 2nd floor Royston Complementary Health Centre Studio. Mats, cushions and blankets for your practice are provided unless you prefer to bring your own. It is advisable to wear loose comfortable clothing.
Prior to class you'll be asked to complete a health questionnaire online but feel free to contact Heather with any specific concerns you may have beforehand.
Courses run in blocks of 8 classes but towards the end of your pregnancy this can be adjusted to suit your 'due' date.
