Iyengar Qualified Yoga Teacher

Iyengar Yoga classes taught by Jo will are held on Tuesday evenings from 8.15-9.45pm, Wednesday evenings from 7.45-9.15pm and Friday mornings from 9.45-11.15am.

The Iyengar method of yoga focuses on alignment of the body in various postures.
The aim is to improve flexibility, strength and enhance well-being. Iyengar yoga makes use of props to enhance its postures, these may be bricks, wedges, pads, blankets or ropes.
The emphasis is on achieving an awareness of one's own flexibility and work safely to improve upon it.
